M.T. Bashorun (CLN) is a Chartered Librarian and Information professional working as a Reader in the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He started his career as Education Officer II in the Oyo State Civil Service Commission. He worked as a Business Development Manager at Nigerian Bottling Company Plc. He also worked as a Sales Executive at Simba Motors, Lagos, Nigeria. He holds a B.Sc. Biology/Education at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and MLIS in Library and Information Studies degrees from the University of Ibadan and PhD in Library and Information Studies at the University of Botswana. His areas of interest include Reference services, ICT, User studies, Publishing, and research methodology in LIS. He has written several articles and book chapters in national and international journals. He has supervised above Sixty (60) undergraduate projects, ten (10) master projects, and Three (3) ongoing PhD supervisions.
